Deadly Darumbal Art Workshop

Attention 12-18 year old deadly Darumbal & Indigenous Artists!
Darumbal People Aboriginal Corporation (DPAC) are holding an art workshop to create artwork for Darumbal language resources including language posters and a children’s book.
We would like to invite Darumbal and indigenous art enthusiasts aged 12-18 to come along and be part of our project and assist in creating illustrations for our language resources.
Illustrations will include Australian animals, birds, aquatic animals and more. Workshop participants will also be mentored by local indigenous artists in creating their own piece of indigenous art to also feature in our language resources.
Artist Workshop will include:
- Artist Mentoring
- Learning traditional indigenous and contemporary art techniques
- Drawing and painting
- Art materials provided
- Lunch and afternoon tea provided
Limited spots available so early registration is advised
Date: Sunday 25th September 2022
Time: 9.30am – 4.00pm

Location: DPAC Office, 18 Prospect Street Allenstown
Registration Closes: 20th September 2022
Bring a water bottle and please wear appropriate clothing.
